About Anita
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Anita spent most of her childhood living along the beautiful Eastern Shore. She was blessed growing up with a musical family and began singing, writing songs and playing guitar at the age of 9.
After Business College Anita worked 11.5 years for Maritime Tel & Tel and spent 7 of those years working in their Creative Marketing Department. Anita decided it was time for a big life change and made the move from part time to full time with her musical career, which led her to recording her first album between Nashville and Toronto in 1998. For many years she and her husband travelled extensively, performing on cruise ships and entertaining both locally and on the international stages, incl. radio and television.
It was shortly after purchasing her second home that Anita realized how exciting and fulfilling finding the right property could be, not to mention the investment value. Wanting to stay home after years of travel, she decided to make another career move in Real Estate and has not looked back. A REALTOR® since 2004, this career choice has proven very successful & rewarding for Anita. As Associate Broker at Coastal Winds Realty she continues to bring her passion and professionalism to her work and loves helping people find the right property and making their purchase an experience to remember. Known to be very personable, fun to work with, and most importantly, a professional who does her homework when it comes to evaluating homes for the market & negotiating on behalf of her clients in one of the most important decisions of their life.
